Mandola Vihar is located in a fast-developing part of Ghaziabad. The area is seeing growing interest in residential development and regional connectivity.
One of the infrastructure proposals drawing attention is the extension of Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) towards Tronica City and NH-709B.
Official records from the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) mention an UER-II extension from Alipur (NH-44) to Tronica City (NH-709B). (NCRPB)
UER-2 Extension and Mandola Vihar
The proposed connectivity is important for Mandola Vihar because it would strengthen the wider road network around the area.
In addition, NHAI has taken up the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Eastern Extension of UER-II. NHAI issued a consultancy tender for this work in March 2025. (eTender)
The NHAI tender describes the work as:
“Consultancy Services for Preparation of DPR for development of Eastern Extension of Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II).” (eTender)
This makes UER-II an important infrastructure development to watch for the Mandola Vihar region.
Alipur to Tronica City Connectivity
The NHAI March 2026 Balance for Award document also lists:
“Urban Extension Road-II, From Alipur, Delhi to Tronica City till NH-709B in Uttar Pradesh.”
The entry mentions a length of 17 km. (National Highways Authority of India)
Therefore, the proposed connection can add another important link between Delhi and the developing areas of eastern Ghaziabad.
Why This Matters for Mandola Vihar
Mandola Vihar is surrounded by several important road and development corridors.
Better regional connectivity can make travel to Delhi and nearby commercial areas easier. It can also improve access to major roads around the region.
Moreover, the wider area is already benefiting from large infrastructure projects. These include the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and the Delhi-Dehradun corridor.
As a result, improved road connectivity could support the long-term development of Mandola Vihar.
A Growing Connectivity Network
The UER-II extension is one part of a larger infrastructure network around Mandola Vihar.
The Alipur–Tronica City connection is particularly relevant because it links the Delhi side with the Tronica City/NH-709B side.
At the same time, Mandola Vihar continues to develop as a residential area in this wider connectivity zone.
For home buyers and property seekers, infrastructure development is therefore an important factor to watch.
In Summary
The proposed UER-II extension adds another significant connectivity development around Mandola Vihar.
NCRPB records mention the Alipur–Tronica City UER-II extension. NHAI has also initiated DPR-related work for the Eastern Extension. (NCRPB)
With several major infrastructure projects developing around the region, Mandola Vihar is positioned within an increasingly connected part of Ghaziabad.
